Happy New Year

Its been a good week. We were pretty busy but a lot of the people we were teaching were either gone or just somewhere else for the holidays. We did visit a lot of the members. We went over to the Mullin's house and we opened presents with them and watched how to train your dragon. It was so awesome. Brother Mullin was a good wrestler in high school and I always joked around with the idea of me and him wrestling some time. So he finally got his chance to wrestle with me on Christmas morning. He was really impressed about how strong I was, because I don't look that big so I gave him a good match but in the end he took me down. Then His son thought he could take me but I pinned him down.

New years was pretty fun. We went to the moons and read out of the Book of Mormon. They are really progressing and they are so excited when we come over to read with them. Bob Moon is getting closer to being baptized. he is trying to stop smoking and drinking and they are working on getting their car licensed and registered so they can make it to church. I offer them rides but they just want to be able to do it themselves.

We also went with the Spanish elders to the ward new years party. It was fun but we had to leave early because of our curfew. That night, the night before transfer calls, My comp. Elder Prescott got a call from our deaf investigator and they had along conversation on the phone. they used this weird phone service. but in the End we found out that she was way to attached to him and now he is getting transferred out of this area to Hudson B. So I talked to president and I am able to stay and keep the Apollo Beach area open. I am very excited to be staying and working with my new companion Elder Gordan. I am going to miss Elder Prescott a lot.

We had no baptisms this last transfer but This transfer is going to be awesome and this area is going to explode with conversions and reactivations. We are trying to work with the ward more and I know that we are going to have a lot of baptisms.

One of the things that I learned this passed transfer was about Jesus Christ and his Atonement. I have gained a deeper understanding of it than before. I think that it is becoming a lot more personal to me and I am getting to know who he is and know who he sees in me. He is the Way. He truly knows us individually. Through the the power of the father he created us and the Earth. And through the power of the Father he was able to pay for all of our sins and pains. I love him and adore him. I am so excited for that day when I will see him and I will be able to kiss his feet and feel the nail prints in his hands. That thought always is so humbling to me.

I love all of you and I hope you have a Happy New year.
